GB0LMR - 55th anniversary of the demise of steam on BR

GB0LMR will be on the air in 2023 to mark the 55th anniversary of the demise of steam on British Railways. The station is operated by Mark G1PIE.

Mark G1PIE.tells us "This is the QSL card I have had printed for 2022 SES using GB1FRT. This call will also get used during the Septembers ROTA in 2023. The FRT stands for Furness Railway Trust".

GB2WR commemorating the Waverley Route closure in 1969

GB2WR QSL card from 1979. GB2WR commemorated the tenth anniversary of the closure on 6th January 1969 of the Waverley Route. The scene is Hawick station.
The image was kindly supplied to us by Bruce GM4BDJ.

GB2RST QSL card (from 1980) via Paul G4MWO.
This commemorated the Rainhill Steam Trials and the Liverpool - Manchester railway's 150th anniversary. The card was based on an engraving that (perhaps uniquely) showed the three main engines in the Trials. It was a joint St. Helens & District ARC and BRARS event.

GB0IFC operated at the FIRAC 2016 Congress held
in Derby, September 2016.
